Frequently Asked Questions
What exactly is Get Cookin' Now and how does it work?
Please see How it works

What is the cost?
You can prepare 4 meals for $80, 8 meals for $155, or 12 meals for $208. With each meal feeding an average of 6 people, the cost breaks down to less than $3 per serving...Comparable to what you would spend at the grocery store and a lot less than take out!

What if I don't have time to come and prepare the meals myself?
That's OK. We would be happy to do it for FREE. Click on the session time that will be convenient for you to pick up, then choose your meals and click the radial button that says, "I would like to arrange a pickup of this order."

Do you Deliver?
Of course. We will deliver your meals within a 10 mile radius of the store. Simply choose a session time, then click the radial button that says "I would like to schedule a delivery" and we will deliver your meals the following Saturday.

How many people will each meal feed?
Each meal will feed 6 people on average. You can find out exactly how many servings in each dish on the Menu.

What if I have a small family?
That's Ok. If it is just two of you at home, you always have the option to make your meal into two smaller meals by splitting it into two separate pans. Please let us know if you are planning on bringing your spouse, significant other, or child to help assemble your meals. This will allow us to staff properly so that you get the best possible service while you are here in our kitchen.

Just a reminder that we do offer 4 meal sessions. So, instead of splitting an 8-meal session with a friend, please book two separate 4-meal sessions. This way we can make sure that you get the attention that you need as well as ensure that the kitchen won't be overcrowded for your session.

Thanks so much for your help!

Can I change the recipe if there is something that I don't like or am allergic to?
Of course! If you like it spicy, increase the amount in your dish. If you don't like onions, omit them entirely. You can modify the recipe so that your meal will turn out as if you made it in your own kitchen.

Can I bring my child to help assemble my meals?
Of course you may bring your child to help assemble your meals. Well-behaved, supervised children are always welcome. A lot of our guests comment on how much better their children eat after they have helped to make the family's meals.

Do you have nutritional information?
Absolutely! We would be happy to provide nutritional information for each dish that you choose...Just ask!

What should I bring?
Something to carry your meals home. A cooler is recommended to maintain the temperature of your meals until you get home and put them in the freezer.

What if I can't cook?
That's OK! All meal recipes are posted for you and we take care of the shopping, chopping, and clean up. We also include cooking instructions for each meal so that you can have easy and fabulous meals in your own home.

Can I book a private party?
Of course! If you have your own group of at least 8 people we will be happy to schedule a session that meets your group's schedule. We also provide a gift for the hostess that organizes the party. Call 727.538.2665 to schedule a private session.

Do I have to bring my own pans?
No. We provide everything that you need to assemble your meals, including the pans. However, if you would prefer to bring your own pans, you may do so.

Can I reschedule?
Of course you can. We understand that sometimes things come up. Please call ahead of time to let us know that you won't make your session. We will be happy to re-book a more convenient time for you in the next 30 days.

What is the best way to thaw my meals?
The best way to thaw your meals is in the refrigerator according to the thawing directions on your meal label. It is dangerous to thaw meals at room temperature and is not recommended.
